After taking several months off, I finally buckled down and made some new items to take to Artifacts Gallery in Peakland Crossing. I really like several of them (well, ALL of them), so I hope that you enjoy looking at them!

I am busy uploading things to etsy (www.etsy.com/shop/baublemarket) and stocking the galleries for Black Friday, so I was able to sneak in the time to make a couple of new pieces.
The photo does not do this piece justice, but it is made using light blue vintage crystal. I was fortunate enough to find several antique necklaces in the same hue so that I could make a graduated necklace interspersed with sterling silver and also matching earrings.
The deep red of these crystal beads will be perfect for the holidays. I had exactly enough beads to make the two stranded necklace with a matching pair of earrings … I only had one bead left to spare, but I love the results of this design.
The Christmas season has already begun out at the lake, so I needed to freshen things up and take new pieces out to The Little Gallery on Smith Mountain Lake. Here is a sampling of what is out there now. They have two locations … one in Westlake and the other at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta.

These sweet little earrings are made using VERY vintage beads that are from the Victorian era. The beads are made of glass and came from a necklace that was in disrepair. I love these little beads and use them VERY sparingly (hence the fact that they are made into earrings). I love the fact that these are great “everyday” earrings since they are a translucent white color, and the findings are sterling silver. I recently took some new pieces to Artifacts Gallery in Peakland Crossing in Lynchburg, VA. It has been a long time since I have updated my blog, so I am going to try to be more consistent and update everyone with all of the goings on here at The Bauble Market. Enjoy viewing some of my new pieces!!
This pink and brown necklace was made using crystal, glass, rose quartz and a wooden keyhole (all vintage!!) accented by 14K gold filled findings.
A vintage brass drawer accent (remember when dressers had drawer pulls? this is the decorative piece that went behind the pull) is highlighted in this piece, which is complemented by black vintage crystal and 14K gold filled findings.
I purchased a set of these darling buttons at an antique store in upstate PA, and I just could not resist pairing one of them with vintage amber and aqua glass beads (also designed with 14K gold filled accents).
Call me crazy, but I fell in love with this piece!! The focus is a vintage keychain tag. It has a VA driver’s license plate number on it (from 1960), and it guaranteed that your keys would be returned to you if they were lost. All the finder had to do was deposit the keychain into a mailbox, and it would be shipped to a company (listed on the back of the tiny license plate) that would return the keys to their owner. I love how this piece pairs the funky with the refined in the fact that the vintage beads are made with black and clear crystal. New sterling silver completes this fun conversation piece.
I am definitely a sucker for vintage pressed glass beads, and these red ones are truly some of the finest that I have found. They are so special to me that I chose a simple design in order to keep the original beauty of these perfect floral motif beads. Sterling silver also completes this design.

I am so excited about my line of Faith Bracelets making its debut at New Life Christian Stores in Lynchburg,
They are made with Swarovski Crystals and Sterling Silver, and they can be found in our “Awareness” section under “Faith” on our www.baublemarket.com website.
I will also be working on several new pieces for New Life, and I will let you know when they arrive. New Life is located on Wards Road in front of Target in Lynchburg, and you can view their website at www.thenewlife.com.
I have enjoyed having my pieces in Artifacts Gallery for a little over a year, and I am excited about the new steps the owner, Suzanne Scott, is taking. After enjoying much success with her gallery in a section of town called Wyndhurst, Suzanne has moved to a beautiful space in Peakland Crossing, which is in the Boonsboro section of town.
The space is bright and open, and planning for the move has been something that Suzanne has worked on for months, with a great payoff … a goregeous new gallery in a great location!
My gallery pieces are listed under the name “vibe by The Bauble Market”. I came up with the name vibe by taking the “vi” from vintage and the “be” from beads, since all of my gallery pieces are made using vintage beads … fun!

Saturday, June 2nd, I had the privilege of setting up my jewelry and doing a demonstration at The Little Gallery at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia (www.thelittlegallerysml.com if you want to check them out).
The Little Gallery was the first place that I put my pieces, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I had the opportunity to meet many people and talk about my jewelry. The pieces that I have in the galleries are all made using vintage beads, which most people find intriguing.
I started out wearing my fish necklace, which sold right away … I made another that day (which I am working on in the photo), and that piece also sold as soon as I made it. How fun! In the photo I am wearing my “cherries” necklace and bracelet that are also big hits with sterling and vintage beads. I am thinking of posting both of these under my “bauble collection” on my www.baublemarket.com site, so you can watch for these soon!
